For Kálmán, table soccer isn’t just a kids’ game—it’s a serious sport. He and his team are training tirelessly for the European Championship. They’re obsessed—the mad saints of amateur football, titans with golden fingers. They had a real shot at qualifying, but in the last moments of the qualifying round, they were disqualified for financial reasons. Their lives are thrown into chaos as they face losing the most important thing in their world.

An unexpected solution appears when a billionaire accidentally transfers 100 million forints into their account. Though they know the money doesn’t belong to them, the temptation is too great—it offers them a chance to secure their spot in the European Championship.

"Ricochet" is a heartwarming sports comedy about love, perseverance, and a tribute to the extraordinary Hungarian pastime so many of us cherish—amateur football.
