The Ciuc Chamber Orchestra returns with a special concert featuring world-renowned cellist Denis Shapovalov!

Today, Shapovalov is considered one of the world’s most acclaimed cellists and is a regular guest performer with leading European orchestras. He was born in 1974 in the city of Tchaikovsky near the Ural Mountains. In 2000, he graduated from the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in Moscow, where he later taught cello for twelve years. The orchestra’s program features 19th-century masterpieces from three corners of Europe: France, England, and the Czech Republic. The concertmaster for the evening will be Csaba Veress, and the concert will be conducted by the soloist himself, Denis Shapovalov.
