Denis Shapovalov and the Ciuc Chamber Orchestra

The Ciuc Chamber Orchestra will present a special concert! The world-renowned cellist of Russian origin, Denis Shapovalov, is returning to our city!

Denis Shapovalov is now one of the world's most famous cellists and a regular guest of Europe's leading orchestras. Born in 1974 in the town of Tchaikovsky, near the Urals, he graduated from the Tchaikovsky State Conservatoire in Moscow in 2000 and was later a cello teacher for twelve years. The orchestra’s program features 19th-century masterpieces from three corners of Europe: France, England, and the Czech Republic. Csaba Veress will serve as concertmaster for the evening. The soloist will also be the conductor: Denis Shapovalov.
