Addiction as a Response to Pain – The Path of Hope

In this talk, psychologist Péter Balázs-Penksza will introduce Fazenda da Esperança, a therapeutic rehabilitation community, and share his experiences as a volunteer there. We will explore how addictions develop, the pain that can lie behind them, the role they may play in our lives, and what recovery and healing can mean.
