Situated at an altitude of 900 meters, it lies in a wide valley surrounded by forested mountains, at the meeting point of the Gurghiu and Călimani Mountains. The town offers a therapeutic mineral water bath and a modern ski slope, along with dozens of mountain biking routes and marked hiking trails. In the center of Borszek, right by the first mineral water spring (LÁZÁR Spring) on the Székely Gate Promenade, stands the Amber Villa (Borostyánkő Villa), built on the site of the former LÁZÁR BATH. The villa has been restored to its former glory on the outside, while being modernized on the inside. In the open courtyard, two additional mineral springs – LÁSZLÓ and BOLDIZSÁR – offer refreshment to our guests. The ornamented wooden building, surrounded by terraces, houses tastefully designed rooms (with bathtubs or showers), a lounge, a dining room, and a fully equipped modern kitchen – along with a fitness room in the basement.
