Mădăraș Ciuc mineral water spring

The Mădăraş mineral water baths are to be found on the right plain of the Olt, in the vicinity of the railway station. The bicarbonic mineral water also containing iron springs to the surface from 250 m depth. Cooled, it can also be used as table water.

The Köpüs mineral water springs, from the upper course of the Minei stream, springs near the cinnabaritic area (mercury ore) at an altitude of 1200 m. It has a flow so high that it gives birth to a real stream, the so-called "Borvizes patak "- the mineral water stream.
