About

Hungarian economic organization in Transylvania began in 1769, with several attempts until the Romanian Hungarian Economic Society (RMKT) was founded in Cluj in 1990. Today it has 12 local branches and a youth section, organizes conferences, publishes respected journals, and runs the largest Hungarian economic library in Transylvania. Its work has been recognized with major awards.
