During the Csíki Chips factory tour, visitors can gain insight into the world of artisan chip production while learning about the factory’s history, development, and modern manufacturing processes. During the program, guests can discover how the uniquely flavored Csíki Chips products are made. The visit includes a technological presentation and a chips tasting, where visitors can sample several different products. A special children’s program package is also available, which includes the factory tour and a meal. At the end of the program, visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase souvenirs and products related to Csíki Beer and Csíki Chips. Located in the centre of Parajd, the upside-down house measures 8×5 metres. Through the main door, you enter directly into the attic, where the children's room is located. The cheese workshop in Gheorgheni/Gyergyószentmiklós was opened in 2017 by Rural Development Gheorgheni/Gyergyószentmiklós. Its primary aim is to show visitors cheesemaking and the ingredients used to make healthy dairy products. They are showint their guests the cheese maturing process, the tools used to make cheese and the maturing cellar, where the cheeses are treated for up to 4 years. Visitors will be able to taste some of the best-known cheeses made from raw milk, matured for a long time and natural yoghurt. The program includes: • guided tour, • demonstration of cheese making, • milking, • product tasting (cheeses, yoghurt, scones, dry white wine), • possibility to buy products. The programme can be customized for individuals and groups and takes on average 1 hour. Groups are limited to 50 people at a time. On request, a presentation of the herbs and spices typical of the region can be organised. BIG AIR BAG is a huge air pillow one can jump into from an altitudie of even 60 m. Panoramic mountain refuges are rare in Europe. In Romania, there are two of them, both in the Bicaz/Békás Gorge. They were inaugurated this year by the Gyilkostó Adventure Association and Salvamont Harghita. One of them can be found at the Piatra Poienii/Mária-kő, the other one is on the Ucigaș/Gyilkos Mountain. Kemecse Ceramic Workshop started its craft activity in 2013. In their product collection they have twice-fired glazed ceramic dishes of different shapes, sizes and functionality. These can be used for hot and cold liquids, but also preparing and serving food, and they are also washable. The shape of the dishes follows clear lines, as does the unique decoration which is made with a so-called scratch technique. They have participated at several fairs with their collection. They also organize open workshops for their visitors upon request. Beside aesthetics, they are also working on perfecting the products’ functionality. The decorations are designed using old Szekler and Hungarian motifs that are inspired by folk tales, natural forms and archetypes.

We are very pleased to have been able to create a place in Harghita County that provides meaningful leisure for all ages. Children and adults can get close to the animals living in the park, and they can touch and pet them. In many cases, contact with animals can be a therapeutic nature, as it has a beneficial effect on our physical and mental health.  Nowadays, fewer and fewer pets are kept by families, so one of our goals is to introduce backyard animals and some exotic species, especially to children. The petting zoo is constantly being expanded. We also provide horseback riding and carriage rides with our beautiful pony horses.
