About

In Bilbor depression, the mineral water springs are located in the Western part of it, on the right side of Bistricioara, forming a relatively small area, where there are about 15 springs of mineral water, mostly stored in fir woods or in concrete pipes.

The most important are: Simion Lungu, the only source that stands out by the more pronounced continuity and intensity of CO₂ emissions, which is remarked by the "noisy boiling" of water.

Although the spring area "boils" because of CO₂, the water is very poorly mineralized, the mixture with CO₂ is made at surface and not deep, it can be used in the future as a mofette. Then there are the springs Şeştina, Iacobeţ, Truţa, Raita, Vâlcăneşti (where there are 3 springs of mineral water), Borcut and on Bistricioara Valley, in the area called Hurubă, on a surface of 300-400 m² there are six springs of carbonated mineral waters from a travertine nipple.
