Sólyom Major–Gut Falkenhof is a true corner of heaven nestled in the heart of Transylvania, located in the village of Kissolymos, Harghita County. Designed as a Village Resort, the place aims to offer visitors an oasis of peace, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The guesthouse has 11 rooms, which offer the following amenities: • Comfortable beds • Private bathroom with shower • Central heating • Free Wi-Fi • TV • Access to common areas: lounge, terrace, dining area As a guesthouse focused on sustainability and relaxation, the emphasis is on simplicity, cleanliness, and connection with nature, not on excessive luxury. At Sólyom Major–Gut Falkenhof, the most popular activities are those that combine nature, tradition, and authentic relaxation: • Horse riding is the star attraction – available for both beginners and experienced riders. • Carriage rides in summer and sleigh rides in winter offer a fairytale experience through the Szekler villages and the surrounding mountain landscapes. • Traditional workshops such as bread baking, folk dancing, and campfires offer an authentic connection to the local culture. • The Gastronomic Point attracts gourmets with Szekler dishes cooked from local ingredients, sourced directly from the farm. • Visits to the farm are adored by families – cows, goats, sheep, pigs, horses, and birds live here, and children can interact with the animals. • For nature lovers, guided hikes and walks in the surroundings are available, with the possibility of camping or accommodation in caravans.

The restaurant is located on the Vărșag ski slope, featuring a beautiful panoramic terrace and a playground for children.  It is known for its stunning view and delicious food. Opening hours: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Here, mountain tranquility and active leisure go hand in hand all year round. Accommodation & Gastronomy: Our new 4-star hotel welcomes you with comfortable, stylish rooms and suites. The in-house restaurant serves local and international dishes, prepared with carefully selected ingredients, in a cozy and inviting atmosphere for a perfect mountain experience. Parking: We provide 300 parking spaces. The fee is 10 lei/day, free of charge for hotel guests. Breathe in the fresh mountain air and enjoy the 4-star comfort of SKIGYIMES Hotel – all year round! Ski & Bob Tracks: -Blue slope: 800 m, -Red slope: 700 m, Bob track: 1200 + 600 m The slopes are located at an altitude of 900–1060 m, with a vertical drop of 160 m. We offer platter lifts and two-person drag lifts, while the bob track has its own lift. The bob can be used from the age of 3, reaching speeds of up to 45 km/h – adrenaline guaranteed in every season.
