Located at the foot of Harghita mountains, near St Anne`s Lake, in the Olt valley, in the middle of the most beautiful natural parks of Transylvania, you will find yourself at the ideal place for relaxation and rest. The region is famous of the countless mineral springs that you can find at every step. These waters have been used for therapeutical cures as well as for consumption, as natural sparkling mineral water. IRIS*** Pension provides confortable accomodation for 50 guests, in rooms with two beds or one double bed. Each room has its own bathroom, modern furniture, cableTV and minibar. Some rooms have corner bath or whirlpool, too. In our coffee shop 20 guests can enjoy Italian coffee or refreshments. The service is friendly, starting from morning to late night, performed by nice, foreign language speaking personnel. Our kitchen offers traditional Transylvanian meals. Our guests will pleasantly remember the tastes of the Transylvanian ciorba, the Hungarian goulasch, the chiken paprikas, the beef steak in onion souce or the fried trout with garlic souce, just to give you some examples. Our guests can choose their drinks from a large list, including Transylvanian wines, local and import beers and other alcoholic or soft drinks. And of course, the best plum brandy called ”pálinka„ and the Tușnad natural mineral water.

Băile Tușnad has a great and long history and it has become an independent settlement in 1935; it has been a great touristic attraction for both those wanting to relax and to those wanting to get cured of different affections ever since. Pension Flora has been functioning as a pension since November 2014, when it was registered; at that time it also got renovated and the rooms were given beautiful new furniture. The Pension is situated behind the Elisabeta park and since it is located in the city centre, every touristic sight is close and within reach: the train station at 400m distance, the Wellness Center at 200m distance and the ski slope at 1km distance. The Pension offers an amazing view of the Stânca Șoimilor.

The regions natural salt water wells give the idea of building a spa right next to the salt halls, creating an outstanding retreat for the visitors of Praid. In addition to this there are many activities in Praid, where one can get familiar with the famous local gastronomy, different festivals, exhibitions and folk traditions of the region. Neighboring towns are great contributors to the enjoyment of the area, Sovata a widely recognized town from its tourism, built around natural salt lakes and spas. Corund the center of the folk artifacts and handmade goods, it is a never ending source of traditional folk arts. Visiting the famous Transylvania castles, fortresses from Salt Crystal, it is very convenient given its central location. We also gladly provide guidance to our guests at request and assist any possible way.

At Miorita chalet you will find a family atmosphere! It has all the facilities needed for a 2 star chalet. -8 rooms with 4 single beds. -3 rooms with 3 single beds. -2 rooms with 1 double bed + 1 single bed. -3 rooms with 1 double bed + private bathroom. In case of group stays, the chalet can also provide the conference room located on the first floor, with a capacity of 40-46 seats and standard equipment, meaning: TV, video, overhead projector and flipchart.

Our pension is located in Lăzarea, in the heart of the Gheorgheni basin.
